Instruct Real Estate classes as assigned.

Representative Duties and Responsibilities:

Instruct classes as assigned. Participate in general faculty functions related to the educational program and in-service activities. Assignments may include day, evening, and/or weekend courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university AND two (2) years of Real Estate experience; OR
2. Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university AND six (6) years of Real Estate experience; OR
3. Valid California Community College instructor credential appropriate to the subject per Education Code 87355 (issued prior to July 1, 1990); OR
4. A combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent of items 1 or 2 above (Applicants applying on the basis of equivalency must complete all Equivalency questions on their application in addition to all other required materials).

Part-time, temporary, hourly assignments are on an as needed basis.

    • Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university AND six (6) years of Real Estate experience.

    • I do not meet any of the above Minimum Qualifications. I am REQUIRED to complete the following seven (7) EQUIVALENCY questions showing a combination of educations and experience that is at least equivalent of the first item above.
  2. Equivalency Question #1: List all academic preparation that should be considered to determine equivalency. Please be specific regarding the institution, course titles, unit value, and level of course work (graduate, upper division, etc.) and to which degree(s) it is equivalent. Transcripts and copies of course descriptions should be attached.
